Greek Centennial Celebration
2021 marks 100 years of fraternity and sorority leadership on the Northwestern State University campus. Throughout the 2021 academic year, the university will host several events and programs to celebrate this exciting milestone for NSU Greek Life. We invite all members of every fraternity and sorority chapter that has ever called NSU home to join us in the celebration.

Greek Centennial Celebration Weekend

April 9th
Flavor of Louisiana – 6:00PM
Kickoff our celebration weekend at our spring fundraiser & seafood extravaganza that celebrates our donors, supporters, alumni, and students at Northwestern State University.
April 10th
Greek Centennial Gala – 7:00PM
This semi-formal gala will officially commemorate our Centennial Celebration with alumni and current members of our Greek community at NSU as we celebrate 100 years of history and a tradition of leadership and excellence. Greek Awards for chapters and individuals as well as recognition of our 100 for 100 recipients will also take place.
April 10th
Chapter Meetings – 9:00am
Chapters and alumni groups wishing to meet before the Greek Riverbank festival can reach out to Alan Pasch, NSU Director of Facility Use at pascha@nsula.edu to reserve a space on campus if needed.
Greek Riverbank Festival – 12:00pm
This family-friendly event will allow you to rekindle the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood as we celebrate together through the decades. Each decade will have a designated area for alumni and friends to visit and reconnect.
April 11th
All-Greek Worship Service and Breakfast – 9:30AM
Celebrate a century of brotherhood and sisterhood at NSU with an ecumenical worship service and communion.

The Greek Centennial Committee will identify 100 noteworthy individuals throughout our 100 years of fraternity and sorority life who have demonstrated their commitment to Greek Life and Northwestern State University.
Greek Centennial History Book
The official publication for 100 years of Greek Life at NSU that will feature community history, photos, chapter snapshots, our 100 for 100 honorees and more!
Greek Leadership Fund
Another way to mark 100 years of Greek leadership at NSU will be the establishment of a fund that will assist in the development of leadership through project and program funding for our student members.
